Theme: «There was a princess long ago»
Aims: Students will play the role performance confidently and collaboratively.
Organization moment: Teacher: children time to make a circle. Song. (children act out the song to the music) Make a circle big, big, big, small, small, small, big, big, big, big. Make a circle small, small, small, hello, hello, hello. Make a circle round, and round, round and round. Make a circle round, and round, hello, hello, hello. Make a circle up, up, up, down, down, down, up, up, up. Make a circle down, down, down, now sit down children. (children sit on the corner in a circle shape)
Teacher: Children let`s play a game to start. Game: children have to say I am fine, I am bad, I am great, I am happy on different emotions. First -on happy emotion, second -on sad emotion, third -on great emotion.
Warm up
Work with flashcards: Teacher shows picture of a tower, asks children. What is this? Teacher adds further pictures to elicit and teach new words (window, princess, crown, prince, horse, fairy, forest, and sword) Exercise: teacher divides children into three groups, 1st group has to show with pantomimes , children have to introduce objects by demonstrating for the groups , (window, princess, crown) other groups try to guess, 2nd group will show (prince, horse), 3rd group will show (fairy, forest, sword).
Listening: Teacher: children let`s listen to the story.

A naughty fairy waved her wand, Waved her wand, waved her wand, The princess slept for a hundred years, A hundred years, a hundred years. A great big forest grew around, Grew around, grew around, A handsome prince came riding by, Riding by, riding by , He took his sword and chopped it down, Chopped it down, chopped it down. He kissed her hand to wake her up, Wake her up, wake her up. So everybody`s happy now, Happy now, happy now. Happy now, happy now.

Drama activities: a prince, a princess, a fairy, the rest stand in a circle round them. Plays music «There was a princess long ago»
- There was a princess long ago- princess stands in centre of the circle, others walk round her holding hands.
- And she lived in a big , high tower- circle lift arms up to show walls of the tower round princess
- A naughty fairy waved her wand- fairy goes in centre and waves her wand over the princess.
- The princess slept for a hundred years – princess lies down and sleeps
- A great big forest grew around- circle closes in on princess, waving arms like branches.
- A handsome prince came riding by-prince rides around outside of circle
- He took his sword and chopped it down- prince chops through trees and goes to princess, trees collapse to their knees.
- He kissed her hand to wake her up- prince kisses princess hand, she gets up
- So everybody`s happy now-all hold hands and dance round.
(pupils change roles and act out the song to the music)

Teacher gives to each child worksheet, children have to write numbers next to the pictures and colour.
