To teach new theme and new words. To develop student’s memorizing abilities. To create student’s abilities in reading for understanding. To think critically,

Ex1 and 2 can be used as a warm up activity.

Who has the best memory? Which is more difficult memorizing numbers or objects?

 

They look numbers and objects for 30 seconds and try to memorize them. Then they close their books write down the numbers and objects they can remember.

 

 

 

Presentation of the new theme

Ex 3. Teacher asks questions.  How good is your memory? ……..

 Let’s study new words.

Ex4. Reading.

Divide the class into three groups. After each exercises they get the feedback.

Vocabulary work.

Ex 8, on pg47 written form.

They listen, read then write the new words.

Ex4. 1 group reads first part and completes the sentences.

2 group reads second part and decide if the sentences true or false and correct false sentences.

3 group reads third part and match the brain age with professions.

Ex 8. They match the words and definitions and write in their copybooks.

They write word dictation about new words which have learnt.

 

Home task Ex 9 on pg 47 and learn new words.
